Stress can cause High Blood Pressure

One foreign worker was struggling to speak the local language. He got his work-mate into trouble by providing the wrong messages. And there , emotional stress, mental stress and physical was beginning to press both of them directly and indirectly

Directly, he couldn't tell what he wanted clearly. Indirectly, others mis-construed him and they quickly jumped into conclusion that his work-make was nasty. The foreign worker had an advantage compared to his work-mate since he didn't had a home to return after work hours.

Since his work-mate had to go home to attend to his kids, many workers thought this foreign worker was more reliable. They didn't see that productivity is output over input but what they saw was input only. That was exactly accepted by the management of a small manufacturing company on a small rented factory lot after moving out from some 2 or 3 shophouses. Like many beginning enterprenuers, input was the only thing to get growing and more profits.

These enterprenuers carried that idea with them as they grew. They worked round the clock and they worked hard.

Assumption is on the longest working hours worker. As it is difficult to throw away that assumption, it is equally difficult to acquire the skills on man, machines and methods.

So, the work hours became longer and longer and even extended to 36 hours or more. In this respect, physical stress quietly build up. Money takes control and rest was not balance with work for many.

To the foreign worker, home was too far to return to for the day but to the locals, the kids would like their parents to spend a little more time with them for the day.

The scenario governed the cost of living of the foreign worker and the cost of living of the local workers. First, is housing cost. Foreign worker get free housing while the local worker has to pay for shelter.
