Air Traffic Control or ATC in short, is one of the services provided by the Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia, Ministry of Transport for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of traffic within Malaysian airspace. The level of services provided is constantly being improved to meet the increasing demands of the aviation industry.

The job of an Air Traffic Control Officer or ATCO in short is unique and demanding for it requires ‘parallel’ thinking and rapid decision making. As a controller, your goal is to fulfill the ATC objectives set out by the International Civil Aviation Organization or ICAO in short, to prevent collision between aircraft in the air and on the maneuvering area; between aircraft and obstruction; and maintain an orderly flow of air traffic.
