Water Custard

This custard has been prepared on a small scale a few centuries ago. It has never been served in food shops, only in mini-stall, a few only. This custard is not sold widely becuase it is home-made and the chefs have to ensure the freshness after they are taken out from the kitchen.

You can still see them in metalic bowls before the customer pickup. Usually, water custards are taken during breakfast or afternoon tea time.

The sauce is not available over counter. Only the chef know how to tame the portion.

The Chinese called this custard, Chui Kuih in Melaka.
