SALTWATER CROCODILE

DISTRIBUTION: THROUGHOUT THE TROPICAL OF ASIA AND PACIFIC AND NORTHERN AUSTRALIA.

HABITAT: IT IS OFTEN FOUND IN LAKES, RIVERS AND SEA.

DIET: FISHES, AND ANY MAMMALS NEAR TO WATER.

REPRODUCTION:

SEXUALLY MATURE AT AGE 10 TO 25 YEARS.
MATING SEASON: DECEMBER TO MARCH.
EGGS ARE LAID DURING WET SEASON IN 20 - 90 IN NUMBER.
INCUBATION IS USUALLY 80 - 90 DAYS.

LIFE SPAN: 80 TO 120 YEARS.

LARGEST SPECIES: FOUND IN NORTH BORNEO MEASURING 10 M OR 33 FEET - SARAWAK
