04 Alor Gajah Museum

Exhibits will help visitors to journey into the past and to visualise the amazing stories behind the district of Alor Gajah. The district was the site where the Naning War was waged between the local Malay and the British. The Alor Gajah Museum houses exhibits relating to the Naning Wars. There are also exhibits on the cultures of the Malay, Chinese and Indian.

15 Kampung Morten

Must visit of the traditional house in Kampung Morten is Villa Sentosa. This house has been converted into a private museum for visitor to get feel of the ambience of the village house. It was built in 1920 by Tuan Haji Hashim bin Dato' Demang Haji Abdul Ghani, a pioneer of the Kampung Morten. The house is filled with the essentials and collectibles of the owners.

06 Malaysia Youth Museum

The museum is dedicated to the contribution made by the youth in the country economic and social well-being of the country. The noble efforts evident at regional, national and international levels are displayed at the museum.

23 Portuguese Settlement

Inferring strong affinity to Portugal, this place has been called Mini Lisbon. Located within the Portugal Settlement, the square is the culmination of colourful and splendid Portuguese culture during festivals and celebrations. This Portuguese community speaks Cristao, a dialect of the Portuguese from the 16th and 17th centuries. This place is very famous for its restaurants, where spicy seafood dishes are served and its cultural performances, which the dancers are dressed in their traditional costumes.

11 Proclaimation of Independence Memorial

Next to Porta De Santiago is the Proclaimation of Independence Memorial. Proclaimation of Malaya's independence was made by Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj at Padang Pahlawan or Warriors Field. This memorial houses invaluable exhibits of the country's struggle leading to the independence in 1957. Exhibits are in the form of relics, manuscripts, video tapes, films and slides.

59 The Stadthuys Complex

The Stadhuys is the most imposing relic of the Dutch era in Melaka with its' massive red town hall surrounding the governor's residence which was built between 1641 and 1660. It is believed to be the oldest Dutch building in the East. It displays all the typical features of Dutch colonial architecture. This building comprises:
