ONE HUNDRED MALAYSIAN RINGGIT

DPM: Schools, PTAs have no right to deduct from RM100 aid

Najib's Administration is caring to think of the rakyat and decide to budget a One Hundred Ringgit Malaysia government aid meant for some 5.3 millions students throughout the country.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed that the monetary aid is meant to go directly to the students or their families.

Students have received the RM100 school assistance given under Budget 2012 two days ago. While the Government is trying to distribute the schooling assistance of RM100 to all primary and secondary students before the school closes for the year, parents who miss out on the payment can claim it later, Education Director-General Datuk Seri Abd Ghafar Mahmud said on Wednesday.

Datuk Seri Abd Ghafar Mahmud further added, "We are focusing on making the payment this week to enable parents to use the money to buy schooling paraphernalia." Families burdens are eased when year end draw closer with this government assistance and if I am happy about it, there must be countless parents happy too.

Najib was appointed the Minister of Education in 1995 and he contributed greatly during his five-year tenure towards education for the country. Najib created an independent corporate structure for public universities, and encouraged collaboration with foreign universities and instituions that bring greater educational opportunities to the rakyat. He appreciate teachers and has upgraded teaching certificates to the status of diplomas to that they would receive a higher monthly starting salary.

Education occurs through any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts.

"Different people has different edges, and it is education that polishes these edges." ~ an original quote by this blogger, Daniel HH, a former pupil of Malacca High School (Sekolah Tinggi Melaka) while writing this post on Friday 18 November 2011 8:19pm.

I guess Najib and Muhyiddin have got the rakyat at hearts to have think of this type of aids which is needy when schools re-open early next year.
