Trengganu had relationship with China in history when Admiral Zheng He stopped for freshwater and supplies in his voyage.

Trengganu produces beautiful batik under meticulous craftsmanship of batik designers. Trengganu has got skillful kites makers too and many shapes of differents sizes of their kites can be seen during the harvest time.

Kuala Trengganu as its capital city, Trengganu has the longest breathtaking coastline in Peninsular Malaysia. Along its coastline is the famous Rantau Abang Beach which is one of the six hatching sites in the world where the giant leatherback turtles lay their eggs.
